This year is the beginning of a phenomenon that the world has rarely seen. NASA found that we have had “blood-red moons” on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkoth (Jewish Holy Days) on back-to-back years seven times since (one) A.D. Three of these occurrences (last three) were connected to 1492 (the year the Jews were expelled from Spain by Queen Isabella) , 1948 (statehood for Israel), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) – some of the most significant days in Jewish history. According to NASA – Four ‘blood-red’ TOTAL lunar eclipses WILL fall again on Passover and Sukkoth in 2014/15 the same back-to-back occurrences at the time of 1492, 1948 and 1967. OK, so seven back-to-back, blood-red moons have fallen on the first day of Passover and Sukkoth, with the “eighth time” coming in 2014/15.
Historically and in Jewish tradition anything to do with the “Moon” (lunar eclipse, blood moons, i.e.) has implications for the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Anything to do with the “Sun” (solar eclipse) has implications for the World.
Interestingly in between these (latest) four blood moons there is a solar eclipse, thus indicating there is not only going to be a time of turmoil for the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people but the World as well. Examining the past occurrences of blood-moons along with the four blood-moons that have been forecast for 2014/15 along with the solar eclipse, all of the dates have been confirmed by NASA scientist.
In my lifetime I have seen many biblical prophecies from both the old and new testaments fulfilled. As my mind ponders what is about to happen I can’t help but search the scriptures in a quest for understand and I would like to share a couple of them.
(“And I will show wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” Joel 2:30 -31
“The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious Day of the Lord.” Acts 2:20)
Do you find it interesting? What does the number eight mean in scripture? What does the near future hold? Ever wonder?
We’ll know shortly, one-way or the other!
