Membership dues are now due for 2014 and are still only $5 per year.

Wednesday only the TAWC bus is available to take you to Warren for errands. Call 968-5667 and we will make arrangements for you to be picked up at your door.

It’s that time of year again … income tax! Thanks to the graciousness of certified, IRS highly-trained volunteers, RSVP is again able to offer income tax preparation services to qualifying individuals at no cost at various locations including the ACC site at 42 Clark Street in Warren. The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) preparers provide services for the elderly, disabled and low-income residents of both Warren & Forest Counties by appointment only. For tax appointments from Feb. 3 through April 15 for Warren, Endeavor, Marienville, Youngsville, Tidioute or Tionesta , call Sue or Barb at 230-7222.

Think spring! To help get into the mood you can stop by the ACC dining room on Friday, Feb. 28 at 12:30 p.m. for some new flower arranging ideas to help you perk up your home after a long winter.

ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.

The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers Feb. 24-28: chicken tenders Monday; lasagna Tuesday; meatloaf Wednesday; sloppy joe Thursday; and fish sandwich Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
