Lt. Gov. hopeful meets Dems

Brad Koplinski, candidate for lieutenant governor on the May 20 Democratic primary election ballot, was introduced to the attendees of the January Warren County Democratic Committee meeting by Chairman Randy Peterson.

Koplinski spoke about his credentials, experience and his position on key issues, such as adequate investment in public education and creating a business climate that attracts companies that provide good jobs.

Koplinski worked at the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, as well as for the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel, both in Washington D.C. and he’s been a policy analyst for the Office of the Auditor General.

He currently serves on the Harrisburg City Council.

He served as controller for the 2008 Obama-Biden Pennsylvania campaign, State Political Director for former Sen. Arlen Specter, and Central Pennsylvania Political Director for former Sen. Hillary Clinton.
