GIRLS HOOPS: Lady Lions rout TCCS

The Warren County Christian School Lady Lions improved to 7-5 on the year with a 46-22 home win over Tidioute Charter Wednesday night.

Nine different players found the scoresheet for WCCS, led by Kaitlin Weidner’s 16 points and 11 from Dymphee Zortman. Tanya Krouse scored six to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

“It was a good effort from everyone,” said WCCS coach Tom Jones. “It’s nice to have 11 girls get playing time and have nice, balanced scoring. We were able to try some different things at the end of the first, and I couldn’t be happier with our effort.”

Warren County Christian will take on CCSI at home for Parents night Friday,with the girls game set to tip off at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs welcome West Forest to Tidioute Community Charter School on Monday for their next game.
