Warren

Bench Warrant. On Feb. 4 at 10 a.m., State Constables arrested Dakota Wilson, 18, of Warren on a bench warrant issued on the charge of Purchase of alcohol by a minor. Wilson was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.

Bench Warrant. On Feb. 4 at noon., State Constables arrested Heather Hamilton, 31, of Clarendon on a bench warrant issued on the charges of driving while privileged is revoked and driving without registration. Hamilton was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson where fines and costs were paid prior to release.

Bench Warrant. On Feb. 4 at noon., State Constables arrested Chessidy Hamilton 31 of Clarendon, on a bench warrant issued on the charges of driving while privileged is revoked, reckless driving and driving without insurance. Hamilton was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson where fines and costs were paid prior to release.

Conewango Twp.

DUI. On Feb. 1 at 2:15 a.m., while on routine patrol, Conewango Township Police observed a Chevrolet sedan traveling west on Follett Run Rd. when the driver discarded a lit cigarette out the driver’s side window. After an initial traffic stop, the driver, Seth Fyock, 21, of Warren, showed evidence of driving while intoxicated. After Fyock failed the standard field sobriety tests, he was taken to the Warren General Hospital for a blood draw. Test results have returned and Fyock was charged with DUI and littering.

Crash. On Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m., Conewango Township Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Jackson Run Rd. for a reported motor vehicle accident. Chad Olsen, 43, of North Warren, was operating a 2004 GMC Envoy traveling southbound on Jackson Run Rd. when he lost control of the vehicle, rolling it over, and striking a vehicle parked in a residential driveway. Police report Olsen was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. North Warren Fire Department provided emergency services at the scene. Olsen was transported to Warren General Hospital by Emergycare. Police said Olsen was charged with DUI, open alcohol container, driving vehicle at safe speed, and failure to wear a seatbelt. A passenger in Olsen’s vehicle was not injured.

Crash. On Feb. 3 at 11:30 p.m., while on routine patrol, Conewango Township. Police observed a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox stranded on railroad tracks near 2012 W. Penna. Ave. The driver, Karen Bailey, 32, of Warren, lost control of the vehicle she was operating and slid from the road and onto the tracks, causing front end damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the tracks and the scene. Police report Bailey was charged with driving at a safe speed.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Rt. 6 near Baker Rd. on Jan. 31 at 8:19 p.m. According to police, Roy Laughery, 20, of Centerville, was traveling east on Rt. 6 when he attempted to avoid a deer in the roadway, lost control on the icy roadway, and flipped the vehicle into a ditch and onto it’s roof. Laughery was not cited in the accident. A passenger in the vehicle, Brittany Glotz, 20, of Youngsville, was transported by EMS for unknown injuries.

Mead Twp.

Rape. Warren-based state police report on Jan. 29 between the hours on 3 and 3:30 a.m., an adult female reported being raped at a Six Mile Rd. location. Charges of rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault were filed in District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. An arrest warrant was issued, and Brandon Childress, 35, was arrested by Franklin-based state police. Childress was transported to Warren, arraigned in from of District Justice Bauer and remanded to Warren County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Davey Hill Rd. approximately 1 mile south of Andrew’s Run Rd. on Feb 1 at 3:15 p.m. According to police, Michael Kafferlin, 54, of Union City, was traveling south on Davey Hill Rd. when he crossed the center lane and traveled into an embankment. When police arrived, they determined Kafferlin to be under the influence of alcohol. Police report Kafferlin was transported to Warren General Hospital via ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Charges are pending blood alcohol content results. Garland VFD, Youngsville Ambulance and Emergycare assisted at the scene.
