To dance Saturday

The Circle Eight Square Dance Club will dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital in North Warren. Don Yosten will be the caller.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will dance from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Ridgway Eagles Club. The Jack Slagel Band with Dick Tady of Springdale, Pa., will provide music for all types of dancing. The public is invited. For information, call Paul Leofsky at 563-7516.

Rummage sale set

The Salvation Army of Warren will have its monthly rummage sale in the gym at 311 Beech St., Warren, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 8. There will be many items from which to choose, too numerous to name. Dollar bag items also will be available. For information, call 723-8950.

Win at bridge

Winners in Monday evening duplicate bridge game at the YMCA were Matt Oram and Doug Megill, first with 13, and Janet Templeton and Joyce Davis, second with 8.5.

No MS group

this month

Due to scheduling conflicts, there will not be a Warren Multiple Sclerosis Support Group meeting in February. Meetings will resume at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the Slater Room of the Warren Public Library. Dinner dance set

A Valentines Day Dinner Dance will be held Friday Feb, 14, at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren. Enjoy a Swiss steak dinner with all the trimmings from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by dancing with “Touch of Gold” playing favorite songs. Come join in the fun. Cost is $8 per person. Interested persons should sign up early, as this dinner will sell out.

Reunion planned

The first meeting of Warren High School Class of 1969 to plan its 45-year reunion, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 112 Fourth Ave., Warren.
