GIRLS HOOPS: 2 in a row for Sheffield

RIDGWAY – Sheffield improved to 5-13 overall by beating Ridgway for the second time in four days, 47-42 Monday at Ridgway High School.

The girls had a rough start, but we came together and took control of the game and pace,” said Sheffield coach Jaimie Ely. “Jen (Isenberg) and Tierra (Hansen) both came up big with points, helping the team work together and come up with a win again.”

Isenberg finished with 19 points and Tierra Hansen 14 as Sheffield came from behind with a 15-7 third quarter.

Ridgway is 1-18.
