Food safety workshop set

Penn State Extension will offer a food safety workshop for non-profit organization on March 3 from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Penn State Extension-Warren Office in Youngsville. To register, call Penn State Extension-Warren at 563-9388 or (724) 813-2191. Cost includes the “Cooking for Crowds” publication, thermometer and food safety posters.

Cooking for Crowds workshop participants learn what causes foodborne illness, how to prevent foodborne illness, and how to start practicing good food safety strategies for your next food fund-raiser.
