GIRLS HOOPS: Sheffield girls fall

BROCKWAY – “Turnovers ruined us tonight,” said Sheffield girls coach Jaimie Ely of her team’s 51-34 loss to host Brockway.

“We just couldn’t get our passing together and move the ball well,” said Ely, whose Wolverines are 3-13. “We made a move for a comeback in the second quarter and almost tied it up at one point, but our ball handling was off tonight.”

Jen Isenberg, coming off a 30-plus point effort, led Sheffield with seven field goals and 19 points.
