Joseph R. Geer, son of Rich and Dorothy Geer of Warren, graduated on Dec. 8, 2013, from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a degree in petroleum technology. A 2010 graduate of Warren County Christian School, Geer plans to pursue a career in the Canadian oil and natural gas industry.
The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at the University of Mount Union, Allianc, Ohio: Ellis Beardsley, a freshman of Warrren, and Megan Morrisophomoren, a senior of Warren. To be eligible for dean’s list, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or better with no grade below a B.
Tiffany Christine Brown, a senior from Pittsfield, was among the 315 students from Thiel College, Greenville, who were named to the fall 2013 dean’s list. A student at Thiel must attain a grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale while being enrolled full time to be eligible for the dean’s list.
Five Warren County high school students were named to the dean’s list at St. Bonaventure University for the fall 2013 semester as participants in the university’s Dual Enrollment Program at the Pine Grove Educational Center. Students named to the fall 2013 dean’s list were: Dora Turner of Russell, and Todd Fasenmyer , Danielle Smith, James Wilson and Molly Berardi of Warren.
