Do you need a winter-weather change of pace? Wednesday morning, Jan. 29, ACC has a choice of 2 enjoyable outings. At 8 a.m., there’s a TAWC bus leaving the CRI parking lot for Erie. You can choose 2 different destinations to stop or shop plus a lunch-stop of choice. At 9 a.m., there’s a bus leaving the Big Lots parking lot at the Warren Mall for the Salamanca Casino and Bingo. Both trips return around 5 p.m. Sign-up (required) and complete details are available by calling 723-3237 or just stop at ACC. Enjoy!
ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and often on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers Jan. 27-31: chili Monday; chicken and biscuits Tuesday; tuna noodle casserole Wednesday; soup and sandwich Thursday; and breakfast for lunch Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
