Tidioute Area News In Brief
By LINDA SCOTT
As chairperson of the Tidioute Salvation Unit, I thank all the volunteers who came out to ring the bells for the Salvation Army this year.
We also would like to thank all those who donated money in the kettles; your support is greatly appreciated.
This year we had three kettle locations Tidioute Trading Post, Northwest Savings Bank, and Polly’s ShurSave Market, with 27 volunteers with a total of 92 volunteer hours.
Treasures For Children
Our Treasures for Children program this year helped 61 children.
Thanks to our special angels who took the tags from the tree and shopped for the children and also thank you to those who donated cash so the elves could go shopping for several of the children.
