New testing at KCH

Kane Community Hospital (KCH) began to offer new platelet aggregate testing through Accumetrics VerifyNow System. The VerifyNow System provides physicians with valuable information to more effectively determine medication options to prevent recurrent cardiovascular or cerebrovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke.

“This investment is consistent with Kane Community Hospital’s mission to provide area patients with top-quality care and supports the organization’s focus on positive patient outcomes and reducing hospital readmissions,” said Nancy Hagg, KCH laboratory manager.
