Dear editor:

Once again this year the little town of Bethlehem is surrounded by the apartheid wall paid for with our tax dollars.

Not only is there no room at the inn for Joseph and Mary, this year they wouldn’t even get to the inn, since the town is surrounded by the towering apartheid wall, which is three times the height of the former Berlin Wall.

Bethlehem has only three gates to the outside world, all tightly controlled by the Israeli Occupation Army, making it a virtual open air prison.

Bethlehem, home to the oldest Christian community in the world, is being strangled to death with the help of our tax dollars to Israel.

Oh little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie.

It’s time for all men and women of good will to say “Mr. Netanyahu tear down that wall.”
