Joyce E. Prine, 80, of Youngsville, passed away December 5, 2013 at Warren General Hospital after a short illness.

She was born August 25, 1933 in Warren, Pa. to the late Gerald and Virginia (Ewings) Reynolds. Joyce was formerly employed at West Penn where she worked as a laborer for many years and also at Kinzua Valley nursing home working as an activities director. Joyce enjoyed working at the nursing home and helping the elderly. She was always taking pictures; she loved gardening, cooking, animals and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce always let her light shine and always had a smile on her face.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Jody Blankenship of Sheffield, Frankie (Bill) Thomas of Warren, a brother, Roger Reynolds of Youngsville, her grandchildren, Chastity Prine and her companion James Pratz, Lisa Johnson, Aaron Jeffcoat, Casey (Amber) Dutchess, Kristy Knupp, Ryan Blankenship, Bridgette Crouse, her greatgrandchildren, Zarah Pratz, Isiss Pratz, Zedakiah Pratz, Raina Pratz, Razzlin Pratz, Dylan Johnson, Terry Sumrow Jr., a soninlaw Garley Blankenship, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Prine, four sibling, Donald Reynolds, Jerry (Jeep) Reynolds, Nancy Eddy, Lois Johnson, two daughters, Robin Ferguson, Debbie Jeffcoat and a granddaughter, Peggy Jeffcoat.

A funeral service will be held at noon at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main Street in Youngsville, with the pastor Bill Thomas of Praise Fellowship in Russell, officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell.
