Sports Briefly 12/3/13

Winter trap

Sugar Grove and Kalbfus tied for first place with scores of 340 as the Penn York Winter Trap League continued competition at the Randolph Rod and Gun Club.

Jon Shelton, Scott Currie, Jack Kostkas, David Straight and Vern Brown all shot perfect scores. Shelton was the high junior, Jack Kostkas the high super senior vet and Dave Straight was the high vet. Tiffany Decker and Cindy Cable each shot 47s to tie for the high lady position. Dave Kingsley and Dave Straight also shot 47s to tie for high vet. Zak Wheeler dropped just one target to be the high sub junior and also shot his first 25 straight.
