EVA L. WOOLSEY
Eva L. Woolsey Yeskey, 91, of Sinclairville com-pleted her earthly journey at her home and went to her heavenly home Thursday (November 28, 2013) fol-lowing a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed and remem-bered for her loving kind-ness.
She was born April 25, 1922 in Greene County (Greeneville), TN, the daughter of the late Robert Taylor & Lura Broyles Woolsey.
After graduating from Greeneville School of Commerce, Eva was em-ployed by the US Navy in Chicago IL. She went on to work in Washington DC Treasury Department and later as Secretary to the Chief of Civilian Personnel at US Coast Guard Head-quarters. After moving to the area, she worked and re-tired from the Jamestown Credit Bureau.
Surviving are four chil-dren: Faye (Jerry) Wills of Mosheim, TN, Charles Yes-key (Valerie Francis) of Jamestown, Paul (Kris) Yes-key of Frewsburg, Priscilla (Rodney) Shoup of Gerry; a daughter-in-law Shir-leyAnn Yeskey of Portland, NY; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchil-dren. Also surviving are dear friends, Ann Wiltsie Lanzel of Lander, Pa., and Doris Underwood of Sin-clairville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter E. Yeskey (1999); and oldest son Fred Yeskey (2006); four brothers and three sisters all of Greene-ville TN.
The family would like to thank Dr. Patrick Collins and Dr. Ryan White for their compassionate care.
A committal service will be held at 2 pm Saturday (12/7) at Warren Memorial Park and a celebration of life at 3 pm at Lander Unit-ed Methodist Church. Offi-ciating will be her grand-son, Rev. Mark Wills of Greeneville TN.
