ON THE RECORD
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 24 at 12:47 p.m., Melanie Jackson, 33, of Warren, was traveling west on Rt. 27 when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve. Police report the vehicle spun in a counter-clockwise direction and left the northside of the roadway before striking a ditch. Police said the vehicle continued over the ditch and hit a tree on the north berm before coming to a rest. Police report no injuries were received by Jackson or her four juvenile passengers. Jackson was cited for Driving at a safe speed.
Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report between 5 p.m. on Nov. 27 and 10 a.m. on Nov.. 28, an unknown person entered the victim’s shed on Hull Hill Rd. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 20 at 11:48 a.m., Robert Kreitzbender Jr., 28, of Youngsville, was traveling west at a high rate of speed on Old Pittsfield Rd. when his vehicle lost traction and traveled off the eastern berm. Police report the vehicle struck an electric line attached to a utility pole before spinning in a clockwise direction and coming to a rest in a nearby yard. Police report Kreitzbender fled the scene of the accident and was identified later at his residence. No injuries were received in the accident and Kreitzbender was cited for fleeing the scene of an accident and several other traffic violations.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 25 at 10:45 p.m., Leilani Lord, 35, of Warren, was traveling west on Hatch Run Rd. when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a right-hand curve. Police report the vehicle spun counter clockwise, slid across the roadway and traveled off the eastern berm. The vehicle then traveled 36 feet and down a slight embankment. According to police, the right side of the vehicle made initial impact with the embankment. Lord received moderate injuries was transported for treatment. Lord was cited for Driving at a safe speed.
Control of Alarm Devices. Warren-based state police report a citation was issued on Nov. 29 at 3 a.m., to Sheffield Middle High School for causing or permitting in excess of three alarms within 12 consecutive months. The alarm causing the citation was the fourth alarm in 12 consecutive months.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 10:13 p.m., Jared Kum, 24, of Tidioute, was traveling east on Emerson Hill Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to make a right hand turn onto Youngsville Rd. The vehicle slid across the intersection and off the southeast berm where it struck a utility pole. The vehicle then spun in a counter clockwise direction and came to rest facing east. After the accident, the driver then left the scene and drove the vehicle to a Grand Valley residence. Police report Kum failed to notify police by the quickest means and was cited for driving at a safe speed. Kum and his passenger sought treatment at Titusville Hospital.
