Monday, Dec. 2 will be stuffed peppers/stuffed cabbage, dessert and beverages.
Tuesday, Dec.3 will be chicken casserole, dessert and beverages.
Thursday, Dec. 5 will be Italian sausage and soup, dessert and beverages.
Monday, Dec. 9 will be wings and macaroni salad, dessert and beverages.

Borough Office Closed
Tidioute Borough office will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving.
The office will open again on Monday, Dec. 2 for regular office hours.
Trash Pick Up
Garbage Pick up for Tidioute Borough this week will be on Friday, Nov. 29.
Have your trash at the curb by 6 a.m. for early pick up.
Tidioute Area Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its Fall Gun Raffle on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the games will begin at 7 p.m.
Cost is $10 a ticket for an opportunity to win a gun. If you don’t want a gun ticket a small donation will be collected at the door.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
You must have your ticket stub to collect any guns you win. However you need not be present to win.
The National Honor Society members at Tidioute Community Charter School are running their annual Christmas Collection for the Troops.
They are working with the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 8803 to send items overseas for the holiday season.
The collection will run till Dec. 6.
They are asking for snacks, hygiene items, and entertainment items.
Bring donations to Tidioute Community Charter School or you can drop donations off at Polly’s ShurSave Market.
Their collection last year was very successful with over 5,000 items collected. This year they hope to bring in even more items.
All donations are appreciated.
Collecting Christmas Cards
Michelle Cantrell is once again collecting Christmas cards to support the Red Cross “Holiday Mail for Heroes” program. They will then be distributing them at military institutions, veterans hospitals and in other locations.
A Christmas card collection box is located in the Tidioute Flea-tique to help it easier for you to help support Michelle in her worthwhile cause.
Do not send any with glitter and do not write in them.
Doug Allen, CEO at Tidioute Community Charter School, is forming a small group of parents who may wish to meet with him periodically.

Holiday Lighting committee would like to thank everyone who helped tie the greens on Friday night.
There were 38 people present to help out this year. There were five who helped on Saturday to decorate the businesses in town.
Thank you to the borough employees for cutting the greens and having them at the firehall. Also, thank you to the Tidioute Fire Department for hanging the greens across the street.
Without the help of all the volunteers this project would not be accomplished.
Ladies Auxiliary to the Post 8803 Tidioute are seeking addresses of military service personnel serving outside of the USA.
They would like the addresses by Dec. 6 so that the boxes can be packed and get them sent out so that they will arrive in time for Christmas.
Addresses can be sent to Doris Svitek, P. O. Box 105, Tidioute, PA 16351 or phone her at 484-7218. Addresses can also be left at the Post Home.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19 attendees of the Tidioute Senior Center enjoyed a delicious lunch, they were served soup and sandwiches and then they had a fashion show with fashions from Blair Corporation.
There were seven ladies and three men who volunteered to model the different styles provided by Blair. All those attending had the opportunity to look through the catalogs and place an order if they wished.
The models were allowed to keep the outfit they modeled and a great time was had by all.
Models included: Karen and Rob Konkle, Helen Perry, Sue Lester, Sue Rondinelli, Jim Bees, Dot Kording, Mike Cassese and Martha Walters.
Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8803 Tidioute will be holding its Christmas Breakfast on Monday, Dec. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Tippy Canoe.
There will be $10 gift exchange if you desire to participate.
There is a sign-up sheet at the bar at the Post Home.
A $5 charge will be collected with your sign-up, you will get the money back when you arrive at the breakfast.
Last day to sign up is Thursday, Dec.12.

Tidioute Community Charter School will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, Dec.12 from 12:30 to 6 p.m.
It’s the season of giving, the season of hope. And this holiday season, the American Red Cross is asking you to give a gift someone will be truly thankful for the gift of life.

St. John Ladies Guild members are still selling the Christmas Cash Raffle Tickets.
Cost is $1 each and the drawing is set for Dec. 8.
First prize is for $300, second prize is for $150 and third prize is for $50. Winner need not be present to win.

Tags for gifts for children age birth to age 18 ( in high school) are on the Christmas Tree at Northwest Savings Bank.
Those wishing to purchase items for these children can select the number of tags they wish to buy for.
Items need to be brought back to the bank in time for the parents to be notified for pick up in time for Christmas.
Bell Ringers Needed
The Salvation Army still needs bell ringers at Tidioute Trading Post for Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.
Also, there is a need for bell ringers at Tidioute Branch of Northwest Savings Bank for Friday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. till 5:45 p.m.
If you can spare an hour any of these days, sign up on the clipboard located at each location.

Shoe Boxes Sent
The Operation Christmas Child program held by several churches including the Tidioute First United Methodist Church has been collecting items to pack in shoe boxes for young children who otherwise might not have a Christmas.
Tidioute shipped out 15 boxes for the program.
