Crash. Corry-based state police report on Nov. 24 at 4:30 p.m., a 17-year-old male was traveling westbound on Sample Flats Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road. According to police, the vehicle went into a ditch, struck an embankment, and rolled over. Police report the driver received minor injuries and was cited for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Eldred Twp.

Cruelty to Animals. Warren-based state police report sometime between Nov. 20 and Nov. 23, two dogs were shot with a small caliber firearm in a wooded area north of Scouten Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 4:56 p.m., Samantha Osborne, 19, of Sugar Grove, was traveling east on Rt. 27 when she lost control of her vehicle, spun in a clockwise direction, and left the southern edge of the road. The vehicle came to rest after striking a ditch. The driver was not injured and was issued a citation for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 4:16 p.m., Howard Colvin, 58, of Pittsfield, was traveling west on Rt. 27 when he lost control of his vehicle negotiating a left hand turn over a bridge and hit a concrete guide rail. The driver was not injured and was issued a citation for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

Sheffield

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 6:40 p.m., a 17-year-old male from Sheffield, was traveling southbound on Rt. 666 when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered roadway while negotiating a curve. Police report the vehicle spun counterclockwise, left the east side of the roadway, entered a ditch and rolled onto it’s right side. The driver received minor injuries and was cited by police for driving at safe speed.

Sugar Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 23 at 5:58 p.m., Terry Stewart, 61, of Little Hocking, Ohio, was traveling west on Rt. 69 when he lost control of his vehicle and left the north side of the roadway. Police report the vehicle struck an embankment and a tree before coming to rest. The driver was not injured and was cited for Driving vehicle at safe speed.

McKean County

Missing Person. Kane-based state police report Albert “Bud” DiFonzo, Jr. 52, of Henderson Rd., Lafayette Twp., has been missing since Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 215 lbs. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. DiFonzo is possibly operating a two-tone brown colored 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe displaying PA registered plate JGW1420.
