If you are either uninsured or underinsured the Department of Health is providing immunization clinics, by appointment only by calling 728-3566.

Mary will be at the center on Monday, Nov. 18, at 11 am to answer Medicare questions.

Nov. 19 starts our winter sport of bowling. The bus will pick you up for lunch and a game of ramp bowling.

AARP will have driving classes here on Nov. 20 & 21.

ACC is celebrating Mickey Mouse’s Birthday on Mon., Nov. 18, with a lunch at noon consisting of baked ham provided by the Center and an assortment of delicious dishes (to pass) brought in by the lunchers. Call 723-3237 and sign up for your reservation and your choice of dish to bring with you to share (plus the regular lunch donation).

The ACC annual Christmas Bazaar sponsored by the ACC Auxiliary will be Nov. 22-23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at the Center. A delicious chili & choice-of-pie lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There’s plenty of time for seconds! A variety of interesting items (some hand crafted) will be available for your gift and self shopping pleasure. Everyone is invited to enjoy this holiday 2-day shopping spree.

This is a special reminder to all trippers that the ACC Trip Policy is available at the Center.

ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.


The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers Nov. 18-22: ham Monday; hot turkey sandwich Tuesday; barbecued ham on a bun Wednesday; taco salad Thursday; holiday bazaar, chili and pie Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
