Clarendon man held for court

A Clarendon man being held on 11 sexual assault-related charges was held for court during Warren County Central Court proceedings before District Justice Glenn Carlson on Wednesday.

Kirk Thomas McNeeley, 43, 116 N. Main St., Clarendon, was held for court on charges of aggravated assault, intimidating witness or victim – refrain from report, aggravated indecent assault – forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault without consent, corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above, terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, unlawful restraint – serious bodily injury, indecent assault – forcible compulsion, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and indecent assault without consent of other.

According to state police reports, McNeeley assaulted a 30-year-old female at his Clarendon residence on Sept. 15. The victim was later taken to Warren General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained during the incident.

Two additional defendants were bound in their absence

Nathaniel Clinton Johnson, Jamestown, N.Y., was bound on charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), DUI: Controlled substance – impaired ability, fail to keep right, disregard traffic lane, driving at safe speed, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, careless driving, damage real property by operating motor vehicle, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property and criminal mischief – property damage.

David C. Oberg, 119 Vine St., was bound on charges of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, disorderly conduct – hazardous physical offense and defiant trespass actual communication.
