Bad checks. Warren City Police charged Jodi Rafalski, 41, Warren, with bad checks after it was found she had issued a check in the amount of $475 for rent, which was returned for non-sufficient funds on Oct. 21.

False reports. Warren City Police charged Joseph Hensley, 18, Warren, with false reports after he falsely incriminated another person. He was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $2,500 bail on Oct. 19.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Cristina Bean, 22 Warren, for dogs running at large after police received a report that her dogs were on a porch that was not hers on Oct. 18.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police charged Thomas Moore, 30, Russell, with public drunkenness after police received a call from residents that an intoxicated male was on their porch on Oct. 19.

Theft. Warren City Police charged John Soderberg, 38, Pittsfield, with theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of prescribed medication not in proper container, after officers responded to a report that a car had been broken into. Police said Soderberg was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bail on Oct. 20.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Diane Peffer, 66, Clarendon, for careless driving after her vehicle struck the Thorne’s BiLo building, Market Street Plaza, after attempting to park on Oct. 21.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Kymberli Bogardus, 21, Jamestown, N.Y., with escape, obstructing administration of law or other government functions, false ID to law enforcement, and pedestrians crossing at other than crosswalks after she refused to return to the jail at the direction of her probation officer and then ran away on Oct. 21.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Annalisa Larkin, 43, Warren, with allowing dogs to run at large after a mail carrier was bitten by her dog on Oct. 26.

DUI. Warren City Police charged Lawrence Deveraux, 49, Warren with two count DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a suspension following a report of an erratic driver on Oct. 26.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police cited Michael Burham, 25, Ashville, N.Y.; William Survoviec, 31, of Clymer, N.Y.; and Brian Viglo, 37, Warren, with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers received a call that three males were urinating on Hickory Street on Oct. 28.

Simple assault. Warren City Police charged Robert Parsons, 48, Warren, with simple assault, harassment, and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Oct. 29.

DUI. Warren City Police charged Gerald Lundberg, 23, Warren, with two counts DUI and one count careless driving after officers observed him driving carelessly on Oct. 30.

Terroristic threats. Warren City Police charged Corey Shirley, 24, Warren, with terroristic threats and harassment after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Nov. 1.

Cited. Warren City Police charged Jeffrey Kirk, 28, Loudon, N.H., for required position and method of turning, following a two-car accident at Conewango and Pennsylvania avenues on Oct. 1.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police report on Nov. 4 at 2:15 p.m. Jeromy Kemery, 20, Warren, was stopped by loss prevention personnel at Wal-Mart after they observed him taking a Bluetooth wireless speaker valued at $52.88 without paying for it. Police said Kemery confessed to the theft. Police said it was also learned that Kemery had been convicted of a retail theft in September at the Wal-Mart in Corry, which made the Nov. 4 retail theft charge a second degree misdemeanor. Police said the charge was file with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office and Kemery was released.

Warren County

Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Paula Ortega (AKA Hetrick), 41, Clarendon, on Nov. 5. Ortega was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for arraignment court. Police said she was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.
