Mary Kathleen Holcomb Case Clinard “Kathy”, 64 of Old Hickory, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and family Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence. Kathy is now rejoicing with the Lord.

Kathy was born March 28, 1949 in Grand Valley, a daughter of the late Marshall and Charlotte McIntyre Holcomb. She worked at Lorangers in Warren, PA. When she moved to TN in 1993, she owned her own cleaning company. She worked at Charlotte Road and Two Rivers Baptist Church as head of facilities up until her illness took over in June. Kathy was a caregiver to many, especially her mom and “daddy”. Kathy’s main job assigned to her was spreading God’s word. She was very involved with the Cornerstone Church. She had a love of motorcycles. She enjoyed crafts with her sister June. She loved taking care of her roses, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. She would always comment that “God had his paint brush out”. She just loved spending time with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Ronnie Clinard, who she married on June 3, 2005, two sons, Kelly (Karey) Smith of Pittsfield, PA, and Michael Smith (Patches Hendrickson) of Old Hickory, TN, two daughters, Kimberly Jones of Hermitage, TN and Katie Case (John Humes) of Nashville, TN and a stepdaughter, Shanna (Shane) Ray, a stepson Ronnie (Kristin) Clinard, ten grandchildren, Jesse, Amber, Kathleen, Cody, Lexi, Max and Tanner, three stepgrandchildren, Cody, Dylan, and Dawson, eight greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Gary Case, who she married in 1980, who died August 6, 1989, three brothers, Harold, Fred and Jack Holcomb and a sister June Phanco.

Visitation will be Thursday from 121 at the Cornerstone Church in Madison, TN. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Grand Valley United Methodist Church in Grand Valley, PA on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ralph Culp, pastor, officiating.
