Tidioute Charter graduate Loralee Lindemuth was an Honorable Mention all-conference selection for the Pennsylvania College of Technology in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) in women’s volleyball.

In the semifinals of the PSUAC championships, the sophomore had five kills in a 3-0 loss to Penn State Fayette.


The Fourth Annual Halloween Bash, with money to benefit the Sheffield Area Middle Senior High School girls track and field teams, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Sheffield Lions Den.

Door tickets for the adult (21+) event are $10 and pre-paid tickets $8.

A small business vendor show will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Sheffield Lions Den from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit the Sheffield girls track and field team and tent fund.

Junior high hoops

Oil City beat Eisenhower Blue, 44-9, Tuesday. Savannah McKown had five points and Haley Spicer and Miranda Garris both had two for Ike.

Oil City beat Eisenhower Gold, 25-12. Cameran Edwards led Ike with four points, Brielle Whitney had four and Caroline Hishman and Delaney Mizzi each finished with two.

The Eisenhower Football Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 309 at Eisenhower High School. Game film from the Youngsville game will be shown at 6 p.m. prior to the meeting.
