Warren Players ‘Extravaganza’ will raise funds and awareness
Warren Players will present a Holiday Extravaganza Craft and Vending Show on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the TAWC Bus Garage, 42 Clark St., Warren.
More than 25 crafters and vendors will be present. Events scheduled throughout the day will feature a guest appearance of the Warren Players’ youth “Enchanted Fairytale Birthday Troupe”, who will have games and activities with the kids. The day will include photos with Santa and characters, a magic show, face painting, bake sale, and additional surprise entertainment. It promises to be a fun filled day for all ages.
Warren Players, the resident amateur theater company of the Struthers Library Theatre, is celebrating its 83rd season of quality community theater. Many hands are needed, both on stage and off, for each and every production, and each director, production manager, actor, costumer, stage manager, set builder, board of directors, etc. are all volunteers from the community. Organized Nov. 6, 1930, Warren Players has the distinction of being one of the longest continuously running amateur theaters in the United States.
The Warren Players’ family is grateful for the community support. They invite the public to attend Nov. 2 for fun and holiday shopping. Information will be available on how to get involved in Warren Players. Visit www.warrenplayers.com and follow us on Facebook for information on future auditions, activities and announcements. Season tickets remain available and may be purchased at the Struthers Library Theatre or by calling the theater office at 723-7231.
