Autumn Geneva Jordan Goldsmith, 91, a resident of Memory Garden in Jamestown, N.Y., passed away there on October 25, 2013.

Autumn was born September 25, 1922 in Garland, Pa., a daughter of the late Emery and Genevieve (Mitchell) Jordan. She was a graduate of Lottsville High School and during her younger days, loved to draw and travel. She married Wendell Goldsmith on October 1, 1949 in Augusta, GA. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1969. Autumn was honorably discharged from the US Army on June 17, 1948. She and her husband had been stationed in Japan, Germany, Norway and Alaska. Autumn lived most of her adult life in Orlando, Fla.

Autumn is survived by her six siblings; Lenore Schepper of Arizona, Lois Inter of Delaware, Jim Jordan of Bear Lake, Jack “Cork” (Lynn) Jordan of Sugar Grove, Robert (Christine) Jordan of Corry, Sally Frank of Sugar Grove, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Autumn was preceded in death by a son, Scott Wendell Goldsmith on April 25, 2004, and her 11 siblings; Carol Jordan, Shirley Jordan, Lawrence Jordan, Marge Kibbey, Ruth Moniak, Jean Briggs, Janet Frank, Howard Jordan, Charles Jordan, Richard Jordan and Joyce Russell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
