BookFLIX at Warren Library

Looking for a way to enrich your child’s literacy skills? Foster their love of reading with fiction and nonfiction books on BookFLIX. BookFLIX is an engaging online literacy resource that pairs classic fictional video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic. With colorful animation, rich audio and interactive games, BookFLIX reinforces core reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.

Children and their families can access BookFLIX via the Warren Public Library’s website www.warrenlibrary.org. Once on the website, click on Children’s Department, scroll to the bottom and click BookFLIX, which will take you to Power Library. Click on Children’s Resources, then scroll down to BookFLIX. All of these clicks are well worth the effort. Please note that you can also access Power Library and BookFLIX via the Reference Department on the library’s website. There are about 150 fiction/nonfiction pairs available in the following categories: Animals and Nature; Earth and Sky; People and Places; ABC’s and 1, 2, 3s; Family and Community; Music and Rhyme.
