Offering dental services to county residents
Warren General Hospital is proud to provide the people of Warren County and Forest County dental services at the Crescent Park Dental Clinic and the Tidioute Area Health and Dental Center in cooperation and support of the United Fund of Warren County.
Tooth decay affects more than 49% of children. Children in low-income households are more than three times less likely to get access to dental care. These clinics service primarily those who have limited access to care due to lack of financial resources, specifically targeting the child population. The clinic provides dental screens every year with the Head Start Program, where each child receives a toothbrush and dental floss, along with instruction and education on proper dental hygiene.
At both clinics, full service dental care is provided by experienced Dental Practitioner, Theodore Rockwell, DMD, public health dental hygiene practitioners and an expanded functions dental assistant. Dr. Rockwell is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and has relocated to Warren following a tour of service in Iraq. Dr. Rockwell is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Detachment of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and is a Lieutenant Colonel.
