Vivian Cressley, 59, of 14 Jackson Run Rd. Warren, passed away surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

She was born June 5, 1954 to the late James H. Tressler and Madelyn Gigone Tressler in Warren. Vivian was a registered nurse and worked at Warren General Hospital, the Rouse Warren County Home and was a 3rd shift supervisor at the Warren State Hospital, retiring after 28 years. She loved her pets and plants, was a generous donator to many organizations and enjoyed one stroke painting. Vivian went back to college to earn her bachelor’s degree until she got sick. She was always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, Vivian is survived and her husband Ronald A. Cressley and her children Scott Cressley and Ronald Cressley of North Warren, Rhonda Cressley and Stacey Cressley of Youngsville, Marlene (Lynn) Einick of Union City and step son Bruce Cressley of Mountville, Pa; her grandson Drake Cressley; siblings James and Ralph Tressler of Warren and Frances McMillen of Pittsfield; nieces Kim McMillen and Karen Borland; and a nephew Jesse McMillen.

She was preceded in death by her father James H. Tressler.

Friends will be received on Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville from noon until 1:00 p.m. at which time the family will leave for the Wrightsville Cemetery for a graveside service.
