Conewango Twp.

Retail Theft. Conewango Police charged Austin Slater, 28, Randolph, NY and Tracy Wadsworth, 28, Kennedy, NY with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property for incidents occurring on June 6, at Warren Walmart where they did remove $758.96 worth of merchandise without paying. On July 10, Wadsworth and Slater removed $1147.00 worth of merchandise from Lowes without paying. Slater is currently in the Chautauqua County Jail on unrelated charges and is awaiting extradition. Wadsworth is in the Cattaraugus County Jail on unrelated charges and is also awaiting extradition according to police.

Retail Theft. Danielle Purdy, 21, Kennedy, NY has been charged with Retail Theft following an investigation from June 17, at Warren Walmart. Purdy and a co-defendant removed $2015.06 worth of merchandise from the store without paying. Purdy responded to a warrant for her arrest and was released pending further Court action. Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office and Lakewood Busti Police Department assisted in the investigation.

Pittsfield Twp.

Found Property. Warren-based state Police said on Oct. 4, a purse/handbag was turned into the station after it was found lying along the roadway on SR.27, Area of Garland location. The owner may claim it by contacting the police station and identifying the property and its contents.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren State Police said on Oct. 10, Kevin Findley, 18, Warren, was traveling south bound on Cobham Park Road at a high rate of speed, while negotiating a right hand curve, Findley lost traction to the rear wheels and spun in a counter clockwise direction toward the southern berm. Findley left the southern berm and overturned several times, traveling approx. 500 feet before coming to a stop on its roof, facing in a southern direction, in the parking lot of the Glade Township Building. Findley’s Hyundai Accent suffered disabling damage from the crash and was towed from the scene. Findley suffered minor injury and was transported to Warren General Hospital, according to police.

Spring Creek

Terroristic Threats. Warren State Police said on Sept. 29, Jason Geiger, 32, Spring Creek, and a known female were involved in a verbal altercation. Geiger was arrested for Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Harassment. He was arraigned before DJ Lindenmuth and placed in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail according to police.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren State Police said on Oct 9, Martha Shetler, 25, Ashville, NY was attempting to enter SR0957 from a dirt lane on the south side of the road and Sean O’Boyle, 48, Jamestown, NY was traveling east on SR0957 on his motorcycle, Shetler pulled into the path of O’Boyle. The front of O’Boyle’s motorcycle made initial impact with the left front of the horse of Shetler’s buggy. After initial impact, O’Boyle lost control and his motorcycle slid across the westbound lane of SR0957 for approx. 96′ before it came to a stop along westbound berm facing southwest. Shetler and two juvenile passengers were not injured. O’Boyle suffered moderate injury according to police.
