Art league will

meet tonight

Warren Art League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at First Lutheran Church, Warren. Presenter will be Tina Faulkner who will set up a still life arrangement for all. Members can use this inspiration to create an art work in any media: drawing, photo, collage, paint, pencil, etc. Participants should take their supplies and imagination. Artwork can then be displayed together at the league’s spring show, as a diverse group of artists all interpreting the same set up. The league did this twice before, once using the same still life and once visually interpreting the same poem. Participants should take their October Art Challenge to the meeting. Interpret the theme, “Trees” in any size and medium. A cash prize will be awarded.
