Theodore Kowalski, age 92, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on September 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Tidioute, Pa. and he loved his family, grandchildren and great grand children.
He will be missed by his beloved daughters, Clare (Thomas) Dunlay, and Kay (Robert) Dangler; sister Jean Forester; brother Roman; loving grandchildren, Thomas (Amy) Dunlay, Theodore (Laura) Dunlay, Lawrence Sauer, Elizabeth (Jamie) Kerns; great grandchildren, Sean, Grace, Macy, Megan, James Tilly and Jude.
He was preceded by his parents, Peter and Frances (nee Kiselewski) and brothers, Stanley and John.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening and vacationing in Hawaii. He served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a Steamship Operator for the Great Lakes Steamship Company and later retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as a Steam Engineer.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM with service to follow at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick, OH 44212. A interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Rittman, Ohio.
