Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle crash on Jackson Ave. Ext. on Sept 25 at 2:12 a.m. According to police, Alexxis Hoak, 22, of Warren, was traveling east on Jackson Ave. just outside the city limits when she crossed over the center line and continued into a ditch. Hoak was arrested for DUI and taken to Warren General Hospital for a blood test. No injuries were reported and Hoak was cited for careless driving. The investigation continues.
Theft. Warren-based state police report between Sept. 23 and Sept. 24, someone removed five 70lb. jack weights from an oil well located on Forestry Rte. 441 on Farnsworth Rd. The stolen items are valued at approximately $600 or greater. If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers. An investigation is pending.
Unauthorized used of a vehicle. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 20 between 9 and 10 p.m., a known 15 year-old male took a victim’s vehicle without consent and proceeded to drive carelessly on Buena Visita Blvd. Police said the crime was witnessed by two of three victims who reported the juvenile exposed himself in public, while urinating in the middle of the road. Both witnesses also report the juvenile approached them on separate occasions and subjected them to indecent contact. An investigation continues.
Harassment. The Youngsville Borough Police Department investigated a harassment that occurred on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 at the Youngsville Elementary Middle School. It was reported that a known 12 year old male made several sexual comments to a fellow female student. Charges have been filed on the offender with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
Driving under suspension. On Sept 20 at 2:30 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Penn. State Constables arrested Anthony Ponich, 27, of Warren on a bench warrant issued for two counts of driving under a suspended license. Ponich was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and was released pending further court action.
Parole violation. On Sept. 24, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jared Hultberg, 24, of Jamestown, N.Y. on charges of parole violation. Hultberg, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of DUI, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 23 an unknown individual(s) caused damage to a metal fence post on the Irvine Run Substation belonging to Warren Electric Cooperative. Damage is estimated at $1,800.
Crash. Conewango Twp. Police report on Sept. 22 at approx. 11:45 a.m., Caitlyn Cummings, Findlay Lake, was traveling northbound on Market St. and when making a left turn into Warren Commons turned in the path of a vehicle operated by Denise Hensal, of Clover, Pa. who was traveling south on Market St. No injuries were reported. Cummings vehicle was towed from the scene and she was cited for vehicles turning left.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred between Sept. 7 and Sept. 23, when an unknown individual(s) cut a lock on a gate on property owned by Danzer Forestland. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or PA Crimestoppers.
Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred between Sept. 4 and Sept. 17, when two pair of gold colored earrings, one with diamonds and one topaz, along with two rings were stolen from the Warren residence of Michelle Thomas. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or PA Crimestoppers.
Cruelty to animals. On Sept. 24 at 11 a.m., Pennsylvania State Constables and Sheffield Twp. Police arrested Brittany Breon, 23 of Sheffield, on charges of animal cruelty. Breon was arrested and taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.
Harassment. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 23 at 3 a.m., April Hoffman, 30 of Tidioute, struck a 29 year-old Tidioute, male for an unknown reason. Charges of harassment will be filed with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
