SOCCER: Warren boys remain winless; Lady Dragons lose home match

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Warren’s boys soccer team fell to 0-7 overall with a 3-1 non-region loss to host Jamestown (N.Y.) on Saturday afternoon.

Warren’s Quinn Boger scored a first-half goal, assisted by Ben Auzou, and Warren was tied 1-1 at halftime, before Jamestown scored twice in the second half for the win.

Boger had the bulk of shots on goal for Warren, which had 17 as a team. Clark Eason had seven saves in 50 minutes for Warren, which hosts Oil City at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Girls Soccer

General McLane 7, Warren 1

Laura Schaefer scored General McLane’s first three goals and finished with four in a non-region win over the Lady Dragons on Saturday at War Memorial Field.

Morgan Danielson scored the lone goal for the Dragons (2-6), which host Mercyhurst Prep on Monday.
