21 defendants enter pleas

Seven defendants entered pleas of guilty, 14 entered pleas of not guilty and one bench warrant was issued during Warren County Arraignment Court proceedings before Judge Maureen Skerda last Thursday.

Guilty pleas included:

Yvonne Nicole Ames, 8 Robertson Dr., Youngsville, to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and reckless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, duty to give information and render aid, restriction on alcoholic beverages and two charges of accident with damage to attended vehicle/property were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, to one count each of DUI: Controlled substance schedule II or III and public drunkenness. Charges of possession of weapon on school property, DUI: General impairment (BAC .08 – .10), DUI: Controlled substance – impaired ability, DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.

Nathan P. Campbell, 691 Cobham Park Rd., to a count of possession of a controlled substance. A charge of possession – small amount of marijuana and an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Matthew James Gray, 218 N. Carver St., to a count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition. A charge of forgery was not prosecuted.

Blair Edward Phillips, 108 Oak St., Apt. 706, to a count of theft by unlawful taking. Charges of criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking), receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and retail theft were not prosecuted.

Jeremy A. Sweeney, 1315 Swede Hollow Rd., Sugar Grove, to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection. Charges of driving while under suspension and public drunkenness were not prosecuted.

Joshua Bruce Whitesel, 631 Brookline Blvd., Apt. A, Pittsburgh, to one count each of duty to give information and render aid, DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving with accident and accident with damage to attended vehicle/property. Charges of accidents involving death or personal injury, DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: High rate of alcohol (BAC .10 – .16), required financial responsibility, driving on roadways laned for traffic, careless driving and reckless driving were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, to one count each of criminal mischief, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle/property, immediate notice of accident to police department and driving on roadways laned for traffic. Two additional charges of driving on roadway laned for traffic, four additional charges of criminal mischief and three charges of recklessly endangering another person were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, a charge of firearm not to be carried without a license was not prosecuted.

Dylan Cole Wineriter, 204 N. Parker St., to a count of theft by unlawful taking. Charge of criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and retail theft were not prosecuted.

Not guilty pleas included:

Scott Jon Cressley, 7 Jackson Run Rd., to charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), operation following suspension of registration, driving on right side of roadway, driving vehicle at safe speed and careless driving.

Jamie Delbert Crick, 2100 Old Pittsfield Rd., Youngsville, to charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession – small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mary Jane Ferrie, 7132 Rt. 958, Bear Lake, to three charges of forgery and three charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

Shannon Kathleen Frew, 11682 Rt. 97, Lot 109, Waterford, to charges of firearm not to be carried without a license, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, driving upon sidewalk and limitations on driving on left of roadway.

Richard Allen Goodman, 131 Russell St., to charges of indecent assault and harassment.

Beth Ann Hoffman, 2544 Mohawk Ave. Ext., Clarendon, to charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and careless driving.

Elizabeth May Johnson, 562 Farnsworth Rd., Clarendon, to charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, registration card to be signed/exhibited on demand, limitations on driving on left of roadway, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicle at safe speed, careless driving, restriction on alcoholic beverages and two charges of notice of change of name or address.

Shelley N. Kagle, 93 Swede Rd., Tidioute, to charges of possession – small amount of marijuana, DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Incapable of safe driving with accident, DUI: High rate of alcohol (BAC .10 – .16), registration/certification of title, required financial responsibility, driving on right side of roadway, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicle at safe speed, careless driving, restraint systems and operation of vehicle without official certification of inspection.

Ryan Michael McShane, 20 Taylor Ln., Garland, to a charge of obstructing administration of law or other governmental function.

Nikita Jay Rugg, 3 Frontier Dr., Youngsville, to charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Lindsey Seyfang, 1 Plum St., to charges of simple assault and harassment.

Jacob S. Shepherd, 505 Liberty St., to charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, careless driving and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle/property.

Heather J. Tremblay, 336 East Main St., Youngsville, to a charge of theft by unlawful taking.

Kelly Sue Voigt-Foust, 103 1/2 Russell St., to a charge of retail theft.

A bench warrant was issued for Robin Leann Smith, who is facing charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving on roadways laned for traffic, required position and method of turning, careless driving and restriction on alcoholic beverages.
