Forum for pastors offered at ACC

Experience, Inc., will host an informational forum at the Allegheny Community Center (ACC), 42 Clark St., Warren, on Sept. 25 for all clergy in the area. Speakers from Area Agency on Aging will discuss the State Aging Waiver Program, Apprise, Service Coordination Services, Family Caregiver Support, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, Nursing Home Transition, Options Cost Share, Personal Assistance, Personal Care, Pre-Admission Assessment, as well as Protective Services. The staff at the ACC will provide a tour of the center and review the programming that occurs there including Primetime Health, nutrition, education, socialization and wellness .

Experience would like to share all of these resources with area clergy as leaders of their congregation so that we can work together to meet the needs of those in our communities.

Lunch is served daily at noon at the center, and forum attendees are invited. There is a $3 donation for people 60 years and older and a $4 fee for those younger than 60 for lunch. The forum will begin at 12:30 p.m. immediately after lunch and will conclude at 1:30 p.m.
