Barbara Mae Chapman Burleigh, 77, Titusville, PA and formerly of Grand Valley, PA and Jamestown, NY, died early Wednesday morning, Sept 11, 2013, surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter in Grand Valley. She was born January 16, 1936 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Ramond and Elma Chapman and worked in housekeeping at the WCA Hospital in Jamestown, The Rouse Home in Youngsville and for various families in Jamestown, NY. She had previously attended the Frewsburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed family gettogethers, baking, cooking and shopping with her daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Casey” Burleigh, a son William Chapman, a daughter, Amy Jo Burleigh, and a step father Lester Osberg.

She is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Ric (Vicki) Mason, Youngsville, PA, Sharon Crick, Townville, PA, Mrs. Steve (Lori) Breon and Mrs Gerry (Diane) Williams, both of Grand Valley and Susan Spetz, Titusville, PA. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at the Grand Valley United Methodist Church Saturday, September 14th from 2:00 O’clock until 3:00 O’clock at which time a Memorial Service will be held with Rev. Ralph Culp, officiating.

Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery.
