Doll club to meet

The Kinzua Country Dollers doll club will have its opening meeting at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in the Jefferson Room of the Warren Public Library. A program on Schoenhut Dolls will be presented by Rosemary Flatt. New members are always welcome.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will dance from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at a John Berne Dance at the Maple Inn, Rt. 46, Crosby. Bobby Kravos & the Boys of Willoughby, Ohio, will provide music for all types of dancing. The public is invited. For information call John or Pat Moore at 837-9218.

Circle Eight to dance Saturday

The Circle Eight Square Dance Club will dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital, North Warren. Caller will be Denny Steiner.

Celebrate 53!

Warren High School Class of 1960 will “Celebrate 53!” with a picnic downstairs at the Eagles Club, Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren, beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. Art League show

The Warren Art League show at the Crary Art Gallery, Market St., Warren, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Tuesday, Sept. 17. An artists’ reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, and will be open to the public. Art league members can pick up their work on Sept. 17 immediately following the show, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Win at bridge

Winners in Monday evening duplicate bridge game at the YMCA were Lana Creal and Doug Megill, first with 37.5; Magda Fanaritis and Jill Dart, second with 36.5; and Dot Boekeloo and Sally Steele, and Hal Conarro and Bill Edwards, tied for third with 35.5.
