Photos sought that give flavor of Warren Co.

It’s time again for Scenes of Warren County.

The 2014 version of the annual Times Observer calendar will publish in late December and, as always, will feature photographs of people, places, and things from around the county.

A panel of Times Observer judges will sort through the entries, narrowing them down until there are only 13 left – one for each month and one for the cover. Online voting will determine which of those photos graces the cover.

For the first two years of the contest, the submission email address received hundreds of photographs and judges are hoping for even more to choose from this year.

Photos taken of Warren County subjects are eligible. Photos entered in previous Scenes of Warren County contests will not be accepted. The photos do not have to be current – historical photos are acceptable – but they must be the original works of those who submit them.

Submissions may be sent by email to or taken to the Times Observer office at 205 Pennsylvania Ave. W. in Warren.

Entry files should be as large as possible and sent in JPEG format. The photos in the calendar are printed in a horizontal format. The Times Observer reserves the right to modify photos to fit the space.

Copies of previous calendars are available at the Times Observer office.
