Theft. Corry-based police said between Sept. 1-2, an unknown person removed a white, double sided metal 4×8′ “Cornfield 500” advertising sign from its wooden framework valued at approx. $1700.00 at the residence along State Rt 6, belonging to Sabrena Miller, 49, Columbus. The unknown person then fled the scene undetected in an unknown direction by unknown means according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Corry Police.
Harassment. Corry-based police said on Sept. 4, Todd D. Gotchy, 37, Centerville, sent Stacey Jean Root, 27, Columbus several harassing messages that served no legitimate purpose according to police. Charges filed in District Court 37-4-91
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based police said on Aug. 31, 2 people had their vehicles scratched along the length of the driver’s side on North Main Street and Ellison Street, Clarendon, by and unknown person according to police. Anyone with information please contact Warren Police.
Criminal Mischief. Warren-based police said between Aug 27 and Sept 3, an unknown person caused damage to a gate on a right way belonging to the Aqua Pennsylvania Water, Clarendon according to police. Damage estimated at $300.00.
Crash. Warren State Police said on Sept 3, Travis Johnson, 19, Russell, was traveling North on SR 1019 negotiating a right hand curve. Johnson swerved within its lane of travel spinning 180 degrees clockwise. Johnson left the roadway on the eastern side entering a ditch impacting an embankment with the left rear corner. Johnson traveled along the ditch in a northern direction for approx. 65 feet, coming to a final stop facing Southwest according to police.
