Clark describes his plan to Lions Club
The Warren Lions Club welcomed Dr. William Clark, Warren County’s new School District Superintendent, at their monthly lunch meeting this past Tuesday at the Holiday Inn. Dr. Clark spoke of his longtime connection to northwest Pennsylvania, his 26 years of experience working in the field of education, and his excitement at overseeing Warren County’s 800-square-mile school district.
Dr. Clark said he has started the process of working on a “Superintendent’s Plan,” which will be developed by collecting perceptions from a variety of people in the community – teachers, parents, students and school board, and he has set up a superintendent’s blog on the School District’s website to encourage open communication. With the community’s input, Dr. Clark hopes to develop a consensus that will allow him and his staff to set up guideposts and establish a new vision for the district.
The Warren Lions Club meets for dinner the second Tuesday of every month and for lunch the fourthTuesday of every month at Warren Holiday Inn. If you are interested in attending or would like to be a presenter, call 726-1381.
