Class to lunch

Warren High School Class of 1959 will meet at New Beginnings, the former bowling alley on the corner in Sugar Grove, at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. The restaurant is handicapped accessible. All are welcome.

‘World of Cats’

Linda Dies’ Dance Express Company will showcase their talents in “The Wonderful World of Cats” production at the Struthers Library Theatre in September. For a public preview, some of the dancers will appear at the Warren Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. for a 30 to 40-minute free rendition of the show. Preregistration is appreciated. Sign up to attend by leaving a message for children’s staff at 723-4650 or stop by the children’s department and register on the sign-up sheet next to the staff computer.

Osram picnic

Former employees of Osram PMP/SMO are invited to a picnic at Betts Park at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. Guests are welcome. Cost will be $5 per person. Call Judy McElhatten at 723-6153 for reservations before Sept. 11.

Learn about Alzheimer’s

Tim Juliano from Northwest Health Connections will present a program on “Alzheimer’s Disease” at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, in Room 241. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia in older adults. At this program you will learn what Alzheimer’s is, stages of the disease and current treatments at this time.
