The Caregivers Support Group will meet at noon Monday, Aug. 19, in the Wesley Parlor of Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. This will be an important meeting as plans will be shared for the launch party, to be held Aug. 22, to kick off the registration phase for teams planning to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk is scheduled for Sept. 28 at Betts Field, Warren. Participants should enter the building from the east side of the church via the elevator entrance at the rear of the parking lot. Wesley Parlor is on the first floor. Bring a bag lunch and beverage, if desired. All caregivers (past and present), family members of those affected by dementia, and anyone interested in the group are invited to attend these meetings which are scheduled for the third Monday of each month. Bariatric support offered
Warren’s Bariatric Support Group will meet on the third Monday of each month (Aug. 19) at Warren General Hospital, in Conference Room A, at 6 p.m. This group is open to anyone who has had or is considering weight loss surgery.
