Gasoline prices

Dear editor:

One time a year I choose to see my doctor and get checked out. Now, I do this knowing that there is something coming that I do not like, the prostate check.

The doctor has always been forthcoming and thankfully uses a lubricant.

At this time of year another event occurs that I have no control over which affects all of us. Gas prices rise 20-30 cents a gallon and the oil companies blame low reserves, turmoil in the Mideast, which never ends by the way, for the hikes.

I would prefer that they would be more forthcoming like my doctor and just tell us that it is all about massive profits, greed, sticking it to the working person who wants to take a vacation.

Perhaps then the people getting screwed would know what they already know, lubrication or not.
