William “Mr. Bill, Papa” A. Burrows, 67, of 739 Dalrymple Road, Sugar Grove, PA, passed away Friday, July 26th, surrounded by family and friends, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Bill was born in Union City on November 24, 1945. He was retired and had been employed for many years at Torpedo Wire and Strip in Garland where he was union representative and negotiator. He and his wife also owned and operated TNT’S together in Sugar Grove for 10 years. He loved to hunt and fish and he really enjoyed smoking meat.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly; 4 daughters, Lisa (Pat) Jordan, of Warren, Laura “Ralfie” (Kenn “Killer”) Chrispell, of Sugar Grove, Lynn (Woody) Shultz, of Sheffield, and Carol “Sweetie” Jackson, of Sugar Grove; 2 sons Billy Burrows, of Warren and Mikey Nobles, of Westfield, NY; 9 grandchildren, Scott Jordan, Mitchell Jordan, Cortney Guest, Lilly Shultz, Calvin Rose, Luke Rose, Jake Rose, Billy Nobles, and Jordan Burrows; 3 greatgrandchildren, Jacob Guest, Keirah Guest and an unborn grandchild on the way, “charm”; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Windy Nobles.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 24 & 68 pm at McKinney Funeral Homes in Sugar Grove where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
