Nominations sought for Community Service Award
The WCCBI is accepting nominations for the 2013 Community Service Award.
In order to be nominated for the award, a candidate must meet the following criteria: has lived in Warren County for at least ten years, contribution to the community is to be over and above his or her professional duties and there is a reasonable expectation that the candidate will remain in Warren after receiving the award in order to provide continuity, inspiration and example.
Also, there should be an indication that the candidate will continue his or her past service activities, the candidate should be of such stature as to keep the award prestigious in nature and a compliment to past and present recipients, the candidate should be respected and recognized throughout the community.
There is no compulsion to elect a recipient each year unless the above criteria are met. The importance of at least one contribution must be considered, and the service rendered be varied.
