Nancy L. Preshak, 70, passed into the next life at 8:03 p.m., July 15, 2013, in Warren Manor, following an extended illness. She was born August 4, 1942 in Warren to the late George and Susan Mihalko Stanko.
Nancy was a lifelong Sheffield resident and homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino, but she loved her family and grandchildren. Catholic by faith, she attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Norbert Preshak, whom she married September 29, 1962 in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Sheffield; two daughters, Cindi Davis and companion Terry Blakeslee, Jefferson, OH, and Tina Peters and husband Mark, Warren; a sister, Janice Highhouse, Sheffield; seven grandchildren, Aysia and Shanna Peters, Marissa Peters/Ingle and husband Corry, Jacqueline and Erick McClellan, Jessica and Mikaela Davis; a greatgrand son Trevor Michael Ingle; and a nephew.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a nephew.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Reverend Father John Neff, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Sheffield. No calling hours will be observed at the family’s request.
