July 7: Community-Wide Worship Service, an interdenominational Christian worship featuring combined church choir and combined church worship team, Struthers Library Theatre, 10 a.m.

July 8: Entry deadline for Elk Township Historical Society photo contest; opening reception on July 13 at 7 p.m.

July 8-13: Scholastic Book Fair, Slater Room, Warren Public Library, books for children, teens, adults.

July 9: “Dinah Saurus and Her Dinosaurs,” 1 p.m., Slater Room, Warren Public Library. Dinosaur stories, songs, door prizes, digging for dinosaurs activity, take-home craft.

July 10: Clifford’s 50th Birthday, 2 p.m., Slater Room, Warren Public Library. Visit with Clifford, listen to stories, enjoy birthday cake.

July 11: Dinah Saurus Scavenger Hunt, age 8-12, Warren Public Library, Slater Room, third floor. Dinah will provide children with golden eggs which contain clues that will help them locate books in the library. Successful participants will receive a free book, 1 p.m. Program limited to 36. Preregister in Children’s Department or phone 723-4650.

July 11: Wilder Museum Chicken Barbecue, 4 to 8 p.m.; dinners served, 5 to 7 p.m., 51 Erie Avenue, Irvine (723-1795).
