CAROLYN ATKINS

Carolyn J. Atkins, 78, of Warren, Pa died peacefully at her residence Friday morning, June 28, 2013. She was born September 11, 1934 in Warren, Pa. to the late Samuel and Jennie Kujava Castagnino. She was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1953 gra-duate of Warren High School. Carolyn was em-ployed with Certified Elec-tric, Johnson Enterprises and United Refinery Com-pany as a secretary retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church where she was a Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed decorating and working in her flower beds at her home.

Her family and friends were her life.

She is survived by her 3 children Judy M. Ander-son and husband, Thomas, Margie A. Finscher and husband, Erik all of Russell, Pa., Michael R. At-kins of Warren, Pa., 7 grandchildren Troy and Cory Anderson of Wash-ington, D.C., Robert and Nicole Atkins of Warren, Pa., Alex, Zack and Logan Finscher of Russell, Pa., several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preced-ed in death by her husband, Robert E. Atkins who died March 8, 1979 whom she married September 16, 1956 in Warren, Pa., 1 Brother John C. Castagni-no, 1 Sister Marlene Mea-ly. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. where a vi-gil service will be con-duced Sunday at 3:45 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday, July 1, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, Pa. by Fr. Richard J. Toohey, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
